Studies

This one is for Tanu, and all those who study.

Around 7 years ago, Guruji was meeting a group of young adult participants in Narayana. I also got in with them, for i just wantedddd to meet Himmmm. In the QnA, one girl asked, "Guruji, how to become perfect at studies?" Guruji asked "What?"
"How to become perfect at studies Guruji?"
"What?"
"How to become perfect Guruji?"
"Come again..."
"Guruji how to become perfect?"
"What?"
By now the whole group (mostly girls) were giggling...

When the girl started to ask again, Guruji, who had been looking right into her eyes all the while, abruptly asked "Got it?"

So, got it?

nice to hear what Guruji said. Also nice previous post. I too have been wondering for long...why doing kriya every day has not helped with some studies and concentration issues I have.

Jai Guru Dev,

@tanu, aparna - thanks, u kow it has worked so wonderfully for me...the first day i sat to study finance i felt terrible. i was thinking how this is supposed to be my vacation and i can always face this later...but i decided to keep going and consequently, my seva has also improved! yesterday i finished a chapter of the book which seemed to have been going on forever....man this is the closest experience of satisfaction i have had to doing seva

@atmarti - oh she is really energetic. Watch out though, she speaks to bawa on equal terms so don't expect her to be an easy one to push around :)

She is very sweet though and would be a ton of help if she starts liking you, which i she would

Got it.... indeed the knowledge in imbibing form.

Recalls me a lesson by an old Sikh man when he taught me how to lit a candle in similar fashion...

Next i would be rather asking how to be perfect at making money since i have no interest in studies...never had ...you know this better....

But roomie i love reading your blogs now..

wow...most of us here have so similar thoughts n likings:)..i love everything thats outside my textbook...magazines, newspapaers, comics, novels(in bookish terms)...n more of the outdoor-travel-work-run-around kinds..so it was a dream to see myself study for more than 3 hrs...untill i realised how every form of education is important for our devlopmnt us and we must respect it..be it anything...now that keeps me going n i can manage to top in my class...
